Indoor deployment in Latin America
Recent interviews with Latin American wireless operators indicate that Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, and Peru remain focused on voice communications and "tower and power" base stations. Less than 3% of the deployment installed by operators in these countries can be tied to low-power indoor installations.

What about North America? What is the typical indoor penetration in USA?
ReplyDeleteIt's growing quickly. Look for growth from roughly 10% today to over 50% (in terms of number of radio nodes) by 2014. Mobile Experts will be releasing a more detailed forecast in a few weeks on this trend
